IBM Developer – Integration

About the Role

As an Integration Developer, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of integration solutions from design and development to maintenance and support. You'll work on mission-critical projects, designing and implementing solutions that are secure, high-performing, and reliable. This role requires a hands-on approach and a strong understanding of industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Develop: Create, develop, and test integration solutions using IBM DataPower, Managed File Transfer (MFT), IBM App Connect, and MQ.
• Troubleshoot and Support: Provide ongoing support for existing solutions, including debugging errors and implementing enhancements.
• Collaborate: Work closely with a team of developers, architects, and business analysts to meet client needs.
• Document: Create and maintain technical documentation and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an integration developer, with a proven track record of delivering solutions using Agile methodologies.
• Expertise in IBM's integration technologies, including hands-on experience with:
• IBM DataPower for API and web service management.
• IBM MQ for asynchronous messaging.
• IBM MFT for secure file transfers.
• IBM App Connect (or IBM Integration Bus/IIB) for integration flows.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns and protocols (REST, SOAP, FTP).
• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or IT is preferred.
• Relevant IBM certifications are highly beneficial.
