Hydrogeologist - Water and Environmental Consulting Industry

Job Title: Mid-Level Hydrogeologist Location: Johannesburg, South Africa Job Summary: Hire Resolve's client, a leading firm in the Water & Environmental Consulting Industry, is looking for a motivated and experienced Hydrogeologist to join their team in Johannesburg. As a Hydrogeologist, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects involving water resource management, groundwater modeling, and environmental impact assessments. Responsibilities: Proficient in handling intricate hydrogeological investigations, including: * Groundwater resource assessments * Dewatering assessments and designs * Groundwater modelling * Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) related to groundwater * Reporting on project findings * Client liaison * Project Management Requirements: * BSc (Hons) in Geology/Hydrogeology or equivalent. * Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a hydrogeologist * Experience in groundwater modelling * Experience in water resource management * Experience in environmental impact assessments. * Strong communication and report-writing skills. * Project Management experience. * Professional registration with a relevant professional body (e.g. SACNASP) would be advantageous.
