At M&P Ingenieurgesellschaft Gruppe Nord, around 125 employees are currently working on projects from the fields of soil, water and environment at the locations Hannover, Hamburg and Osnabrück. Since the company's founding in 1983, the area of hydrogeology and water management has been a major focus. Four years ago, M&P ENERGY was spun off as a sister company at the aforementioned locations as well as Cologne, and has since focused on energy concepts and strengthened expertise at the interface between hydrogeology and TGA as geothermic planning expert.

What's expected of you

• You lead complex projects in the field of hydrogeology and geothermics from planning to implementation to presentation of results
• You take on the professional and organizational responsibility for interdisciplinary project teams
• Your focus lies in planning well systems, with a focus on geothermal utilization. For this purpose, you create thermohydrodynamic models yourself or work with them.
• For larger geothermal well fields, numerical models are also generated to predict the effects of operation
• In an overarching team, you work on groundwater models for various questions, from water supply management to wastewater use, and up to contaminant transport models.
• You ensure a cost-effective project development and monitor budgets, schedules and quality.

What you bring with you

• You have completed studies in hydrogeology, geosciences, environmental engineering or a comparable field. Well builders are also sought after.
• You possess several years of relevant professional experience in the field of hydrogeology, ideally with project leadership experience.
• You have fundamental knowledge of groundwater flow, site modeling, and geo-hydraulic assessment. Ideally, you know your way around well construction and have already dealt with near-surface geothermics.
• You work independently, structured and responsibly
• You are a team player and convince through communication strength.
• You master common software tools (e.g. GIS and FEFLOW) and bring ideal experience in groundwater modeling.
• You possess good German language skills in writing and speaking.
