Hydraulic & Mechanical Technician
Job description
We’re seeking a skilled Hydraulic and Mechanical Technician to join our high-performing team, delivering critical repairs and refurbishments that keep industry moving. You’ll use your machining and hydraulic expertise across varied, hands-on tasks - from precision machining to complex repairs - ensuring equipment runs at its best. You’ll also support our 24/7 breakdown service as part of a shared on-call roster. Other key responsibilities include:
- Operating manual lathes and workshop machinery to fabricate and rework hydraulic parts
- Disassembling, rebuilding and repairing valves, pumps, motors and cylinders
- Performing cylinder repairs such as re-tubing, re-shafting and re-sealing
- Liaising with customers to provide updates, explain repairs and build strong relationships
