Position Summary: CoolSys is seeking a skilled HVAC/R Service Technician with light commercial experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and installing a variety of HVAC/R equipment in light commercial settings. Responsibilities: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/R systems including but not limited to: Refrigeration systems (walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, etc.) Air conditioning systems (split systems, packaged units, RTUs, etc.) Heating systems (furnaces, boilers, etc.) Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC/R equipment. Install new HVAC/R equipment. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations. Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 4 years of experience in the HVAC/R industry. EPA certification. Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems and components. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and work in various conditions. Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree or vocational training in HVAC/R. Experience with light commercial HVAC/R equipment. Experience with building automation systems.
