Job Summary: The HVAC/R Service Technician 3 is responsible for the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and related systems. This position requires a strong understanding of refrigeration principles, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and related systems, including but not limited to: walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-in coolers and freezers, ice machines, HVAC systems, and other related equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC equipment. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques. Install new equipment and components as needed. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities. Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and solutions. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Participate in on-call rotation as required. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of experience in commercial refrigeration and/or HVAC service and repair. EPA certification required. Strong understanding of refrigeration principles, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex refrigeration and HVAC problems. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
