HVAC Technician - Katherine (Live local or DIDO)
Join a trusted Defence partner providing operational maintenance, repairs and services to the air conditioning systems, controlled temperature environments, and refrigeration systems installed throughout the Defence buildings, structures, and infrastructure in Katherine.
This is a permanent full-time role with competitive rates, allowances, plus a Vehicle - rates to be discussed on application
Open to Katherine based candidate or DIDO arrangement.
What you'll do:
Join a trusted Defence partner providing operational maintenance, repairs and services to the air conditioning systems, controlled temperature environments, and refrigeration systems installed throughout the Defence buildings, structures, and infrastructure in Katherine.

What you'll do:
- Carry out preventative maintenance, repairs and installations on HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Diagnose faults and ensure systems operate efficiently
- Monitor and adjust system controls
- Respond to emergency repairs when required
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Work safely and collaboratively with other trades
- Current Australian Refrigeration Mechanic trade qualification (Cert III Air Con & Refrigeration)
- Experience with chilled water systems, chillers, AHUs and BMS
- Strong diagnostic and repair capability
- ArcTick Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Restricted or Open Electrical Licence
- Valid driver's licence
- Australian citizen and able to obtain Baseline Security Clearance
