Now let's talk about this role: As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in commercial buildings. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels and inspecting electrical connections. You will also troubleshoot and repair issues with HVAC systems, including identifying and resolving problems with compressors, fans, coils and other components. In addition to your technical skills, you will need excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to effectively interact with customers and resolve issues in a timely manner. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., HVAC technology) an asset. 2-3 years of experience in the HVAC industry, preferably with a focus on commercial buildings. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning principles. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights (up to 10 feet).
