HVAC Engineer - Offshore Oil & Gas Facilities

For more information on Hill, please visit our website at www.hillintl.com The HVAC Engineer is responsible for the design, calculation, and selection of HVAC systems for offshore oil and gas facilities, ensuring compliance with relevant international standards and codes. Responsibilities: * Perform HVAC system design calculations, including heat load calculations, duct sizing, and equipment selection. * Develop HVAC system specifications and technical documentation. * Review and approve HVAC designs and drawings from contractors and vendors. * Conduct site surveys and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications. * Provide technical support during the construction and commissioning phases. * Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure system integration. * Prepare and present technical reports and presentations. * Stay current with industry best practices, codes, and regulations. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC design for offshore oil and gas facilities. * Strong knowledge of HVAC design software and tools. * Familiarity with relevant international standards and codes (e.g., ASHRAE, ISO, API). * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Willingness to travel to offshore sites as required.
