As an HVAC Engineer at Interflow, you will be responsible for the technical design of HVAC systems within high-tech environments such as cleanrooms and other controlled spaces. You will work on challenging projects for which there are not always standard solutions.

You are more than just an engineer: you are the subject matter expert for air technology and are responsible for the technical quality and consistency of the air technology design within projects. In addition to designing HVAC installations, you will involve colleagues (also from other disciplines) in technical choices, coordinate with clients, and ensure that designs remain technically consistent and feasible.

Your responsibilities include:

• Designing and elaborating air technology installations for cleanrooms and high-tech environments
• Defending and substantiating design choices towards clients and stakeholders
• Ensuring and substantiating technical design choices, standards, and system integrity. You will ensure documentation and traceability of design choices and monitor system integrity in case of changes.
• Coordinating with disciplines such as electrical engineering, measurement and control technology, and execution
• Working in and assessing BIM/Revit models yourself
• Translating client and project requirements into technical solutions. Your solutions are not only technically feasible but also workable for both internal and external clients.
• Identifying and solving technical bottlenecks in design and realization
• Providing technical input in the tender and preparation phase

Your team

You will join Interflow, part of Koninklijke BAM Groep, and a specialist in designing, building, and managing operating rooms, cleanrooms, and laminar air flow cabinets.

You will work in our mechanical engineering team, based in Wieringerwerf. Within the team, there is intensive collaboration on complex technical projects where quality, coordination, and reliability are central.

The atmosphere is informal with short lines of communication, but the technical bar is set high. We work hard, with room for humor and team activities organized by the staff association.

• A salary between €4,090 and €5,780 gross per four weeks (for 40 hours), depending on knowledge and experience
• 8% holiday allowance
• 38 days off (25 vacation days + 13 ADV days)
• A 4-weekly salary payment, meaning 13 times a year
• CAO Technisch installatiebedrijf (Collective Labour Agreement for the Technical Installation Industry)
• A travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer

You make decisions and dare to defend them constructively. You have strong ownership of quality and results. You think in systems rather than isolated solutions.

• Experience as an Engineer
• Experience with HVAC
• Strong in systems thinking and design responsibility
• Good communication skills towards colleagues and clients

BIM/Revit experience is not a hard requirement. However, it is important that you are eager to work with it in the future.
