Job description

Ecker + Ecker GmbH specializes as a management consultancy in the healthcare sector. As a renowned specialist consultancy, it has been offering customized solutions for market access for pharmaceuticals and medical devices for 15 years. The focus of its service portfolio in Germany includes early benefit assessment and price negotiations within the framework of AMNOG, as well as price and reference price analyses throughout the product lifecycle. Together with its sister company Accessus Health GmbH, founded in 2023, Ecker + Ecker supports cross-border European benefit assessments (EU-HTA). Since 2026, we have been part of the athagoras Group, which unites various consulting companies for the life science industry.

To strengthen our interdisciplinary team of subject matter experts, we are looking for Human Biologists, Biologists or Pharmacists (m/f/d).


Responsibilities
  • Consulting our clients and preparing medical dossiers for the early benefit assessment of pharmaceuticals in Germany (AMNOG) and for Joint Clinical Assessment at the European level (EU HTA).
  • Conducting early consultations on the development of clinical studies.
  • Researching diseases, treatment methods, and medical studies.
  • Comprehensive support of our clients from product strategy to price negotiation.
  • Assisting our clients in discussions with the assessment authorities and the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Funds.

Profile
  • Degree in Human Biology, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Pharmacy or equivalent - ideally a PhD.
  • Experience in scientific research of medical studies and their evaluation, as well as knowledge of evidence-based medicine.
  • Quick and partly independent familiarization with new subject areas.
  • Confident demeanor and very good written and spoken expression.
  • Analytical, structured, and meticulous work, as well as enjoyment of working with numbers.
  • Drive and sense of responsibility.
  • Fluent English in spoken and written form and interest in working on international projects.
