Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for providing support to the HR department and acting as a liaison between the HR team and employees. **Responsibilities:** * Assist with the full employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding. * Manage employee relations issues and investigations. * Administer and manage leave of absence requests (FMLA, medical, personal, etc.). * Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews. * Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation sessions. * Maintain employee records and HRIS data accuracy. * Assist with performance management processes. * Administer benefits programs, including enrollment and communication. * Assist with compensation administration. * Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. * Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources. * Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). * Experience with HRIS systems is preferred. * SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus. **Benefits:** * Competitive salary * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) with company match * Paid time off and holidays * Opportunities for professional development and growth * Employee discounts on Hunter Douglas products Hunter Douglas is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic.
