HR & ER Specialist
Functions:
The Human Resources and Labor Relations Specialist provides advice and guidance to managers and employees on various labor relations and personnel management issues. They possess extensive experience, knowledge, and skills, and utilize this set of competencies to investigate situations related to labor relations.
This work must be carried out in compliance with the regulations, standards, and policies currently in force and applicable to the organization.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the comprehensive administration of labor relations and talent development strategies within the organization, acting as a strategic partner for leaders, employees, and Human Resources areas. Their role is focused on ensuring compliance with labor legislation, internal policies, and best organizational practices, promoting a positive, productive work environment aligned with business objectives.
Provides continuous advice to leaders and employees on labor relations matters, performance, progressive discipline, internal investigations, labor terminations, absenteeism, resignations, and conflict resolution. Actively participates in the mitigation of labor risks by collaborating with legal, Ethics, and HR Business Partner areas, ensuring that employee-related decisions are made fairly, consistently, and in accordance with current regulations. Likewise, manages the documentation, tracking, and registration of labor incidents in the corresponding systems, maintaining confidentiality and adequate control of information.
Within their responsibilities is the analysis and monitoring of labor indicators such as turnover, absenteeism, work climate, and labor relations trends, identifying root causes and developing preventive actions, training, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen the employee experience and reduce organizational risks. They also participate in negotiations, agreements with worker representatives, and in the development and implementation of labor policies and procedures.
Additionally, leads the organizational training, learning, and development strategy, designing and implementing technical, functional, and leadership training programs aligned with strategic business priorities and corporate excellence programs.
Identifies development needs through performance evaluations, talent analysis, and operational requirements, ensuring the effective execution of the annual training plan and compliance with mandatory and regulatory training.
Is responsible for driving initiatives focused on leadership development, succession planning, professional growth, and talent retention, promoting a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and continuous improvement. Likewise, measures the effectiveness of training strategies through key performance indicators, impact analysis, productivity metrics, and participant satisfaction, ensuring that initiatives contribute to strengthening organizational capabilities and achieving BD's objectives.
Works transversally with functional leaders, HRBPs, global teams, and other key areas to ensure the correct implementation of talent programs, organizational transformation, performance, and development.
Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or Organizational Psychology.
5 to 8 years of experience in Human Resources.
Minimum 3 years in Labor Relations.
Experience in:
- Labor investigations.
- Disciplinary processes and terminations.
- Conflict management and mediation.
- Application of Mexican labor legislation.
- Organizational development and training.
- Performance evaluation.
- Talent management, succession, and career plans.
- Manufacturing, operations, or regulated industry environments (desirable).
- Interaction with unions (desirable).
