Human Resources Director
Job description
We are looking for a strategic HR Director to lead Human Resources across Mexico for a regional executive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement HR strategies across recruitment, training, retention, compensation, payroll, labor relations, and organizational development, aligned with global objectives.
- Ensure full compliance with Mexican labor laws and regulations.
- Lead workforce and talent planning to meet current and future staffing needs across Mexico.
- Manage headcount and personnel expense budgets, balancing labor costs, productivity, and strategic goals across facilities.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the executive team, strengthening HR philosophy and supporting effective decision making and business sustainability.
- Define, monitor, and manage HR KPIs to track performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop strong relationships with trade unions and lead collective bargaining negotiations at unionized sites.
- Promote a collaborative, compliant, and high performance work climate aligned with company values.
Profile
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Law, Organizational Psychology, or related fields.
- Master’s degree (MBA, Organizational Development, Talent Management) preferred.
Experience & Competencies
- Senior-level HR leadership experience in multi-site, industrial, or regional environments.
- Strong expertise in Mexican labor law and labor relations, including union negotiations.
- Proven capability in change management and strategic HR leadership.
- Strong analytical skills with experience managing HR metrics and executive reporting.
- Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Languages
- English: Advanced / C1 (required)
