HSSE Coordinator - Program Excellence

HSSE is founded on continual improvement, and within Stantec, one that requires strong alignment between operational delivery, regulatory requirements, and global HSSE systems and standards. The HSSE Program Excellence team supports this alignment by enabling consistent, high-quality HSSE programs, practices, and tools across the organization. This role will work closely with the HSSE Program Excellence Manager and assist in supporting the development of a comprehensive HSSE program that aligns with Stantec's global HSSE strategy. This includes assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of HSSE policies, procedures, and training programs. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience working with global HSSE systems and standards, such as OSHA, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. This role is responsible for ensuring that all HSSE programs, practices, and tools are aligned with Stantec's global HSSE strategy and that they meet regulatory requirements.
