HSE Manager (w/m/d) sought in Stuttgart!

We are looking for an HSE Manager (w/m/d) for a customer.

The task includes ensuring the implementation of statutory and group-wide requirements in occupational health, safety, and environmental protection, as well as continuous optimization of HSE processes and tools in business areas.

Tasks

• Point of contact for topics in occupational health, safety, and environmental protection
• Counseling and support for management staff in analyzing accidents, incidents, and near-accidents
• Ensuring communication and implementation of coordinated HSE goals in the business area
• Verification of compliance with statutory provisions, group guidelines, and management system standards, as well as regular effectiveness controls through audits, assessments, and inspections
• Identification of deviations and conception and implementation of suitable measures
• Preparation of a consistent and precise monthly reporting of defined key figures
• Analysis of key figures and occupational health and safety aspects and derivation of suitable measures together with management staff
• Support and inter-departmental coordination in implementing measures
• Promotion of cross-location knowledge exchange and best practices within the functional areas
• Identification of training needs and regular conduct of trainings and basic training on HSE topics
• Development, structuring, and organization of projects, as well as leadership of project teams if necessary
• Collaboration with authorities and agencies, as well as representation of the company vis-à-vis external parties

Qualification

• SUCCESSFUL completion of a degree in occupational safety and/or environmental protection or a comparable engineering science or training as an industrial safety officer
• Qualification for internal auditor preferred
• A minimum of three years of professional experience in the HSE field (mandatory)
• Fluent German and English skills (mandatory)
• Safe knowledge of MS Office (mandatory)
• Experiences in project and change management (advantageous)
• Knowledge of handling databases (advantageous)

Type of contract: Fixed-term employment through labor leasing

Duration: 12 months with option for extension
