HSE Coordinator / SiGeKo (m/w/d) Civil Engineering / Infrastructure Projects
Job description
The position involves independent safety technical coordination and monitoring of complex civil engineering projects involving multiple trades, taking into account all relevant statutory provisions and technical guidelines. A freelance occupation is also possible.
Tasks
- Safeguarding and continuous monitoring of the compliance with safety and health protection requirements according to the Construction Sites Ordinance (BaustellV) throughout the construction process
- Conducting systematic site inspections to identify hazards, including comprehensive documentation and follow-up on measures taken
- Evaluation and assessment of the implementation of work safety, structural, and traffic safety measures in civil engineering
- Analysis and evaluation of critical safety situations during construction, particularly at excavation sites, pipeline construction, machinery use, and activities in public transportation areas
- Closely coordinating with project management, site supervision, and executing companies to ensure effective protective measures
- Structured recording, analysis, and communication of safety-relevant deviations from the client and other project participants
Qualification
- Completed technical education or degree in civil engineering, engineering, or comparable field
- Qualification as a Safety and Health Protection Coordinator according to RAB 30
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the HSE environment in civil engineering, ideally in deep foundation and infrastructure construction
- Fundamental practical experience in civil engineering, particularly in excavation sites, pipeline construction, and activities in public transportation areas
- Experience in creating SiGe plans and risk assessments as well as safe application of relevant regulations (BaustellV, RSA or traffic safety)
