HSE / EHS Manager Health, Safety / Environment / Arbeitssicherheit (m/w/d)

Aufgaben

• You ensure the implementation of all statutory requirements, official regulations, and internal HSE rules and are responsible for the monthly HSE reporting to the corporate body.
• You develop, optimize, and implement strategies, systems, processes, and training measures in the HSE area continuously further.
• The waste-, emergency-, and hazardous substance management as well as the organization of work- and environmental protection-related inspections, measurements, first aid, and fire safety will be taken over by you.
• The conduct and documentation of risk assessments according to ArbSchG, GefStoffV, and Machinery Directive, as well as regular workplace visits with derivation of suitable measures belong to your tasks.
• As the central point of contact, you advise the employer and management on all matters of occupational safety, health protection, accident prevention, work equipment, working procedures, personal protective equipment, and ergonomic workstation design.
• You organize and conduct training sessions, workshops, and HSE audits, prepare operating and job instructions, and analyze accidents with derivation of preventive measures in close cooperation with external institutions and the company doctor.

Qualifikation

• You hold a completed master's or technical degree or a completed study in the technical field.
• You bring a qualification as safety engineer or occupational safety technician with you.
• Your experience in the HSE environment of the processing industry and fundamental knowledge of labor- and environmental law distinguish you.
• If possible, you have an additional training as plant manager for waste and/or fire protection officer.
• A systematic, structured, and goal-oriented working style, excellent communication- and teamwork skills, and resilience are among your strengths.
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package and very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking round out your profile.
