HSE & Compliance Manager

As HSE & Compliance Manager at our client, an international player in the logistics sector, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and compliance standards. You will take the lead in developing, implementing, and monitoring policies and programs that meet current regulations and internal standards.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• You are the central point of contact for all Health & Safety matters within the organization.
• You coordinate internal and external audits and develop and follow up on action plans (CAPAs).
• You conduct risk analyses and update the global prevention and annual action plan.
• You investigate incidents, draw up reports in accordance with legislation, and implement corrective measures.
• You work closely with warehouse and management to increase safety awareness.
• You organize and deliver safety training (including firefighting, first aid, toolbox meetings).
• You supervise evacuation drills and follow up on mandatory medical examinations and training.
• You manage and update safety procedures, instructions, and permits (including fire permits).
• You support security processes and follow up on corrective & preventive actions.
• You assist with security incidents and contribute to the Business Continuity Plan.
• Drafting the annual prevention action plan (deadline: October 1st).
• Drafting the global prevention plan.

For this position, we are looking for an experienced professional dedicated to safety, sustainability, and compliance in the logistics sector. These are the main requirements:

• In possession of a Prevention Advisor Level 2 certificate.
• At least 3 years of experience in an HSE or compliance-related role.
• Fluent in Dutch, English, and French.
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proactive and highly organized.
• Willing to obtain the following certifications within 6 months:
  • Health & Safety Training Program Certification
  • Supply Chain Security Training Program Certification
