HRO Specialist – HRO (Unemployment Claims & WOTC) Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage Unemployment Claims and Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) processes. The role focuses on ensuring compliance, reducing claim costs, maximizing tax credit opportunities, and delivering high-quality support within an HRO environment. Key Responsibilities: Unemployment Claims Management • Review and analyze unemployment claims for accuracy and eligibility • Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports to the state • Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to ensure seamless integration of unemployment claims data • Develop and maintain relationships with state unemployment agencies to resolve issues and improve processes Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) Management • Identify and verify WOTC-eligible employees • Ensure compliance with WOTC regulations and reporting requirements • Coordinate with HR and payroll teams to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of WOTC credits • Provide high-quality support to employees and management on WOTC-related matters Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field • 2+ years of experience in HRO, unemployment claims, or a related field • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Benefits: • Competitive salary and benefits package • Opportunities for professional growth and development • Collaborative and dynamic work environment • Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance
