HR & Payroll Manager

Position Summary The HR & Payroll Plant Manager is responsible for leading all human resources and payroll functions at the Chihuahua manufacturing facility. This role ensures legal compliance, supports organizational development, manages labor relations, and drives employee engagement and development. The position also oversees accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with Mexican labor laws and internal policies. Key Responsibilities Human Resources Leadership Partner with plant leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives. Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations. Develop and maintain effective relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders. Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development processes. Payroll Management Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with Mexican labor laws and internal policies. Manage payroll systems, including data entry, reporting, and reconciliation. Analyze payroll trends and make recommendations for process improvements. Labor Relations Develop and maintain positive relationships with union representatives and employees to ensure effective communication and conflict resolution. Employee Engagement & Development Drive employee engagement and development through training programs, recognition, and rewards. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of Mexican labor laws and regulations. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Certifications: SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR preferred.
