Job description

We are looking for an HR Operations & Payroll Specialist (m/w/d) at our client's location in Norderstedt.

This role is about more than just personnel administration. We are looking for a reliable, precise, and communicative personality who can bring together payroll, HR processes, and operational personnel work.

If you like to work cleanly, don't get nervous with numbers and deadlines, and prefer to improve HR processes rather than just manage them, then it's worth taking a closer look at this position.

Aufgaben

You will take on preparatory tasks in payroll accounting and work closely with external payroll partners in Germany and Austria.

As a contact person in the HR Operations environment, you will support employees and management staff with administrative personnel matters. This includes, among other things, contract management, personal data, time recording issues, as well as monitoring and optimizing relevant HR systems and processes.

You will also be responsible for year-end activities in the personnel department. You will manage employee stock option plans, conduct internal HR controls, and ensure that processes run smoothly, transparently, and legally.

In short: you are an important interface between payroll, HR administration, systems, employees, and external partners. Or, to put it less dryly: without you, the HR motor won't run.

Qualifikation

You have a completed commercial education, a degree with a focus on Human Resources or a comparable qualification.

Important is several years of experience in preparatory payroll accounting or in a comparable Payroll/HR Operations function. You are familiar with German wage tax, labor and social security law and bring a good understanding of administrative HR processes.

You are comfortable with common HR software. Experience with SAP, Hansalog or similar systems is an advantage. Very good Excel skills as well as routine use of Office 365 also belong to this.

Since the environment is international, you need very good German and English language skills. You personally convince through precision, discretion, reliability, and a clear, friendly communication. Analytical thinking and a good sense for data-based decisions round out your profile.

Benefits

You will receive an unlimited fixed-term employment contract in a modern, international company with a technologically demanding environment.

We offer a 35-hour workweek, 30 vacation days, flexible working hours, modern working equipment and up to two days of home office per week after the probation period. Additionally, you will receive an intensive induction, internal networking events and around 40 training hours per year.

We also offer attractive social benefits such as additional insurance, occupational pension, meal subsidies, and corporate benefits, public transportation subsidies, health offers, adjustable desks, bike-to-work allowance and a yearly budget for professional literature.

And yes: successes are celebrated there. Not just secretly in the Excel table, but together with the team.

This position is suitable for people who take HR Operations seriously: precise, reliable, solution-oriented and with a sense of good processes.

Payroll may not be a glamorous fireworks display, but it's the backbone of a functioning HR organization. Whoever is strong here ensures that trust arises — every month, with every payment, every contract and every neatly resolved detail.

If you have an interest in an international environment, modern structures and an HR role with real impact, we look forward to your application.
