Job description

Den Haag

Are you a decisive, accurate, and independent HR employee who likes to ensure things are well organized? Do you enjoy investigating questions, taking action, and ensuring that HR matters are actually handled?

For Praktijk Rood, we are looking for an HR Officer. A pleasant colleague who sees what needs to be done, tackles it independently, and ensures that matters do not get stuck.

About Praktijk Rood

Praktijk Rood is a growing organization for psychological care for children, adolescents, and young adults. Professionals from various locations work together with commitment to provide good and accessible care.

As an HR employee, you ensure that the HR administration is well organized and that team managers and employees can approach you with their questions. You are practically oriented, maintain an overview, and enjoy taking matters from start to finish.

Tasks

In this role, you are responsible for the daily execution of various HR activities. You will have ample opportunity to work independently and actively take initiative.

Your tasks include:

  • Drafting and processing employment contracts, contract changes, and other personnel documents.
  • Handling the administrative processing related to starting employment, changes, and termination of employment.
  • Managing leave administration.
  • Maintaining, checking, and keeping personnel files complete.
  • Actively handling incoming questions and requests from the HR mailbox.
  • Answering employee questions about, for example, contracts, leave, employment conditions, and other personnel matters.
  • Investigating questions yourself when you don't immediately know the answer and ensuring the employee is helped in a timely manner.
  • Drafting and maintaining HR mutation overviews and ensuring that changes are delivered completely and correctly to the external payroll administration.
  • Checking if submitted changes have been processed correctly and taking action when information is missing or something is incorrect.
  • Monitoring important HR moments, such as contract dates, probation periods, and leave, and taking the appropriate actions.
  • Handling and executing personnel queries and, if necessary, contacting parties such as payroll administration, occupational health service, or other external parties.
  • Drafting letters and other HR documents.
  • Identifying when action is needed and proactively arranging it.
  • Monitoring open actions and completing them.
  • Improving and streamlining HR administration and processes.
  • Drafting HR policy.
  • Preparing various audits and tenders.

You are someone who sees what needs to be done and then takes action. You don't wait, but investigate yourself, maintain an overview, and ensure that matters are completed.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who gets energy from well-organized HR administration and enjoys handling many different HR issues.

You:

  • Have a completed Bachelor's degree in HRM, Personnel & Labor, or a comparable field;
  • Have at least 1 year of relevant work experience within HR;
  • Work accurately and are administratively strong;
  • Can work independently and know how to prioritize;
  • Are proactive, practically oriented, and enjoy getting things done;
  • Do not wait for someone to tell you what needs to be done, but see where action is needed yourself;
  • Enjoy investigating matters and persist until you have found an answer or solution;
  • Communicate easily with employees and enjoy helping them;
  • Dare to approach colleagues or external parties when information is missing or something is not delivered on time;
  • Handle confidential personnel information with care;
  • Like it when things are well organized, complete, and finalized.

Experience within healthcare or mental healthcare is a plus, but not a requirement.

Benefits

  • A varied HR role, with potential expansion in the future.
  • An independent role with significant responsibility.
  • A broad range of tasks where you truly take initiative and arrange things yourself.
  • Short communication lines and an informal, collegial working atmosphere.
  • Plenty of room for independent work and contributing to smarter organization of processes.
  • A role where you visibly contribute to a well-organized organization.
  • Opportunities for personal development.
  • Good employment conditions in accordance with the CAO GGZ (Collective Labor Agreement for Mental Healthcare).
  • 8.33% holiday allowance and 8.33% year-end bonus.
  • Pension scheme.
  • Possibility of partial remote work.
