Job description

About Almased

Almased is one of the best-known brands in the field of nutrition and health products in the German-speaking region. For decades, the brand has stood for scientifically based nutritional concepts for optimizing metabolism and sustainable weight regulation.

For over 30 years, starting at the kitchen table in Bienenbüttel, we have been the market leader in Germany – and are also active in the UK and the USA. We have remained a small, dedicated team with the big vision of supporting people in achieving their personal goals through nutrition.

To support our team, we are looking for a structured, reliable, and proactive personality in part-time with 20 to 30 hours per week. The clear focus of the position is on operational HR work. In addition, you will take on organizational tasks related to our location in Bienenbüttel. A prospective expansion of the scope of tasks and the number of hours is generally possible.

Your Role

You will take on tasks in operational HR, coordinate organizational and administrative matters, and ensure that processes are implemented reliably, carefully, and efficiently.

You will work closely with management and executive assistance. You will independently take on clearly defined areas of responsibility, prepare decisions carefully, and coordinate with us on overarching HR issues.

In addition to reliable HR administration, you will have the space to improve processes and advance defined topics independently. Initial exposure to labor law issues is an advantage, but not a mandatory requirement. It is important to us that you are familiar with the basic processes of operational HR work and are willing and happy to familiarize yourself carefully with labor law issues if necessary.

Do you already have a strong focus on HR administration, enjoy working independently, and are you looking for a versatile role? Then you could be exactly the person we are looking for.

Your Tasks

HR & Personnel Administration

  • Support and further development of operational HR processes along the entire employee lifecycle – from onboarding through ongoing personnel administration to offboarding

  • Preparation and coordination of personnel-related issues such as contracts, payroll, time tracking, absences, deadlines, and records

  • Digitization, structuring, and continuous improvement of our HR processes and systems

  • Contribution to the further development of our HR structures and instruments, for example, regarding role and development models, benefits, company pension schemes, and future personnel needs

  • Participation in labor law and personnel organizational issues as well as in training and mandatory instructions – in coordination with management and internal or external specialists

Office & Organization Management

· Coordination and independent further development of organizational and administrative processes at the Bienenbüttel location, in close coordination with other company locations

· Organization of ongoing site management, including external service providers, maintenance work, and recurring maintenance and inspection appointments

· Coordination and follow-up of administrative matters such as document management, appointments, deadlines, overviews, and internal administrative processes

· Participation in cross-site tasks, internal projects, events, and special topics, as well as in the further development of joint processes and structures

Your Profile

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship, a degree with an HR focus, or a comparable qualification

  • At least three years of practical and demonstrable professional experience in operational personnel administration, ideally in a small or medium-sized company

  • Enjoyment of operational HR work, collaboration with people, and willingness to take on organizational and site-related tasks

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and open to new digital tools, cloud applications, and AI-supported ways of working

  • Ideally, experience with HR systems

  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken; English skills are an advantage

What sets you apart:

  • You think ahead, act independently, and take responsibility for your tasks.

  • You maintain an overview even with multiple parallel tasks and work in a structured, careful, and reliable manner.

  • You have organizational skills, a good eye for detail, and a solution-oriented approach to work.

  • You communicate openly, enjoy working with different personalities, and value a trusting collaborative environment.

  • You actively contribute ideas and enjoy jointly developing processes and workflows.

What awaits you at our company

  • Close collaboration with management and executive assistance

  • A varied range of tasks with clearly defined areas of responsibility and scope for your own ideas

  • Short decision-making paths and pragmatic solutions

  • An appreciative, family-like environment

  • Flexible working hours

  • Long-term development opportunities within a growing company

  • 30 days of vacation, company pension scheme, and BusinessBike.

  • Hybrid work and free provision of our products, drinks, and coffee in the office.
