Job description

About Us
Shape the future of environmental engineering with us. SIERA unites leading companies in environmental engineering, combining technical excellence with sustainable development. For our corporate group, we are looking for an HR Manager (m/f/d) with technical understanding, organizational strength, and a keen sense for people, competencies, and structures. In this role, you will support management with HR-related, organizational, and structural matters and contribute to the efficient and well-founded processing of technical, team-related, and group-wide issues. Ideally, you have a background in engineering – preferably in environmental engineering or a comparable technical field.

Responsibilities

Your Tasks

  • Identify and address challenges in the daily work of our employees and technical departments early on and provide structured support
  • Coordinate and further develop internal processes and group-wide structures
  • Ensure that relevant topics are processed efficiently, sensibly prioritized, and sustainably pursued
  • Classify technical requirements and professional criteria in the context of projects, new structures, and cross-departmental topics
  • Support the assessment of competencies – technically (requirements/expertise) and personally-organizationally (potential, collaboration, contextual fit)
  • Promote coordination between technical expertise, organization, and employees within the group
  • Contribute to professional, clear, and effective collaboration across locations and departments

Qualifications

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed university degree, ideally in engineering or environmental engineering; alternatively, business or social sciences
  • Professional experience in a technical, consulting, or project-related environment
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical requirements and classify them with professional depth
  • Strong sense for people, competencies, development potentials, and team dynamics
  • High organizational skills as well as a structured, independent, and responsible work approach
  • Confident demeanor, clear communication, and very good judgment
  • Ability to manage and confidently prioritize multiple topics simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
