Role HR Head

Location: - Gurugram

Core Duties and Responsibilities
  • Strategic HR Leadership & Business Partnership: Collaborate with the CEO and C-suite to translate business strategy into people strategy. Serve as a key advisor on all human capital matters, organizational design, and change management initiatives to support continuous growth in the dynamic real estate market.
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Oversee end-to-end talent management, including strategic workforce planning, recruitment, selection, and retention. This involves attracting top talent for a wide range of roles (sales, construction, engineering, finance) and building strong leadership pipelines and succession plans.
  • Organizational Culture & Employee Engagement: Develop and champion a positive work culture that emphasizes quality, safety, diversity, and inclusion. The Head of HR is responsible for driving employee engagement initiatives, managing employee relations, and mediating complex disputes to ensure a productive and healthy environment.
  • Compensation, Benefits & Performance Management: Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs that are market-aligned and equitable. Oversee the performance management system, ensuring it aligns individual goals with company KPIs and drives high performance across the organization.
  • HR Operations & Legal Compliance: Ensure meticulous management of all HR operations, including payroll coordination, HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) management, and employee data maintenance. This includes ensuring full compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations to mitigate legal risks.
  • Learning & Development: Identify training needs and oversee the implementation of development programs to enhance employee skills and support career growth, which is critical in a technical industry like construction and property development.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: Typically requires 10-20+ years of progressive HR experience, including a significant tenure (5-8 years) in a senior leadership or HR Director role, preferably within the real estate, construction, or infrastructure industries.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is required, while a Master's degree (MBA in HR) is often preferred. Relevant professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR are highly desirable.
  • Skills: Must possess strong leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential for engaging credibly with the Board, senior leadership, and all levels of the workforce.
  • Attributes: High levels of personal integrity, a data-driven approach using HR metrics, and the ability to drive organizational change are crucial for success in this role.
