HR Generalist (m/w/d) | Scaling Phase

In a nutshell:

You burn for structure and communication? Then support us as an HR Generalist*in! We are growing rapidly – from 30 to over 70 heads last year. From contract creation to the maintenance of our HR systems to supporting employees throughout their entire lifecycle, you'll keep us free from behind-the-scenes work. Work with us in our Berlin office or flexibly hybrid. Start: immediately or within the next three months!

Tasks

Your role at Matera:

• You will oversee the entire employee lifecycle – from recruiting to onboarding and offboarding.
• You will develop and optimize HR processes and build central HR foundations such as onboarding materials and employee handbooks.
• You will manage our HRIS system (Lucca) and ensure that all employee data is up-to-date and accurate.
• You will take over contract management, including preparing salary and wage statements.
• You will be the point of contact for employees and executives and work closely with our Team Lead HR Cindy, our Recruiter Steffen, and our HR trainees.

Qualification

You bring:

• Secure application of HR systems (e.g. Lucca).
• Good knowledge of labor, social security, and tax law.
• First experience in payroll topics.
• Pleasure in building HR structures in a growing company.
• Must-have: You speak German at C2 level and fluent English.
