Job description

- Full-time or part-time position · Cologne + Region / Berlin + Region -

Lumoview is a rapidly growing PropTech startup, founded as a spin-off of the German Aerospace Center (DLR). With our self-developed high-tech measurement system, we enable the complete digital recording of existing buildings in just a few minutes.

Why is this important? Sanierungen are the key to reducing CO₂ emissions in the real estate industry. We deliver precise building data, making renovation processes more efficient, faster, and cost-effective – and thus make a significant contribution to sustainable property management.

We currently have 39 motivated and diverse people in Cologne, Berlin, and remote – and are looking for you to drive our growth forward.

As an HR Generalist (m/w/d), you will be a trusted point of contact for employees and management throughout the entire employee lifecycle. You will recruit suitable talents, ensure smooth HR processes, develop workflows further, and support the establishment of a healthy, high-performing corporate culture. The role is hands-on, offering a lot of responsibility and fits perfectly if you like to work people-centered.

Aufgaben

In particular, you will take on the following tasks:

  • Responsibility for End-to-End Recruiting in collaboration with departments – from job posting to onboarding
  • Bureaucracy and optimization of HR processes along the entire employee lifecycle (on/offboarding, contract management, absences, creating work certificates and other documents, benefits) in our personnel software Personio
  • Contact person for employees regarding HR questions, policies, and people-operations topics (including visas / relocation)
  • Active shaping of processes (such as performance-, feedback-, and development processes (talent development)) as well as learning & development initiatives
  • Responsibility for lean HR processes from clear policies to internal communication and Employer Branding.
  • Creation of HR reports and maintenance of our HR systems (e.g. Personio), collaboration with our external Lohnbuchhaltung / Payroll and other external partners (e.g. Legal) as well as ensuring compliance (labor law, social security, internal guidelines)

Qualifikation

What you bring:

  • Pleasure in a people-centered work approach
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience as an HR Generalist (m/w/d) or in a comparable People- / HR role in Germany
  • Experience in recruiting (e.g. creating job profiles, funnel management, conducting interviews, and preparing and evaluating case studies)
  • Fundamental understanding of HR operations and topics along the employee lifecycle
  • Good knowledge of German labor law as well as common HR best practices
  • Very good organizational skills and routine in managing multiple themes simultaneously
  • High detail accuracy, reliability, and an outstanding hands-on- / ownership mentality
  • High societal competence, communication strength, and empathetic appearance
  • A strong sense of responsibility, discretion, and trustworthiness
  • Very good German and English skills in writing and speaking (at least Level C1)
  • Proactive, pragmatic work approach – you enjoy improving processes, not just managing them

What ideally comes along:

  • Experience in a startup, tech company, or in a rapidly growing environment
  • Safe handling of HR tools and systems (e.g. Personio, DATEV, etc.), as well as Google Workspace / Google Office applications
  • Experience in supporting payroll preparation, benefits administration, or topics in the area of Employee Relations

Benefits

  • Opportunity to make a genuine contribution against climate warming and resource waste
  • Perspective on further development and co-shaping, depending on suitability and desire
  • Responsibility to achieve your goals independently and initiatively
  • Flexible working hours
  • A very flexible work location in the office in Cologne or Berlin / Remote Work (at home or also in an EU country possible)
  • Fair compensation with the possibility of financial participation in the company (VSOP)
  • Individual onboarding and targeted support (e.g. coaching or further training)

Applications are only possible through our application link, which will appear after the quiz.
