HR Generalist
Job description
Grandi Molini Italiani S.p.A. for the enhancement of the Human Resources function, is seeking a professional figure as “ HR Generalist ” to be inserted at the Milling Plant in Venice-Marghera, Headquarters of the Group. The resource will operate transversally in support of the various company sites (5 production plants and 6 distribution centers), collaborating with the Management and department heads. The selected candidate will be responsible for: Recruitment and selection of personnel: searching for and selecting candidates for open positions; managing job postings on social media platforms, job boards, and internal communication channels; conducting interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills and qualifications; making hiring decisions based on company needs and budget constraints. Job analysis and design: analyzing job requirements and developing job descriptions, responsibilities, and performance expectations; designing and implementing training programs for new hires and existing employees; creating and maintaining employee handbooks and policies. Employee relations and engagement: fostering a positive work environment by promoting open communication, recognizing and rewarding employee achievements, and addressing employee concerns and issues; conducting exit interviews to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase employee retention. Compliance and reporting: ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations; preparing and submitting reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, training participation, and diversity statistics. Benefits administration: administering employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks; communicating benefit changes and updates to employees. Data analysis and management: analyzing HR data to identify trends and areas for improvement; developing and implementing HR processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Human Resources or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in an HR role. Fluency in Italian is required, while knowledge of English is an asset. The selected candidate will be part of the company's HR team and will work closely with department heads to achieve business objectives.
