Role Overview

Career-defining opportunity to join a reputable and national Agriculture business as part of a high performing HR Team. Report directly to the Head of Human Resources, this is a high-impact and strategic role with the opportunity to work with and add HR value to your internal stakeholders.

Partner with business leaders and managers to understand business goals and develop, support, and implement HR strategies that support these goals.

Responsibilities

  • Business Aligner: As a trusted HR Business Partner, develop and implement strategies that directly achieve business goals.
  • Talent Acquisition: Own the end-to-end recruitment cycle to secure the right talent.
  • Onboarding Excellence: Design and deliver highly effective onboarding programs.
  • Performance & Development: Lead all performance management processes (goal setting, reviews, feedback) and drive development/succession planning.
  • Employee Experience: Enhance engagement and retention by implementing key HR projects and initiatives.
  • Award Expert: Provide accurate and timely advice on complex Modern Award interpretation and application (e.g., pay rates, penalties, entitlements).
  • Reward & Recognition: Support remuneration reviews, bonus programs, and benefits to ensure competitiveness.
  • Data-Driven Insight: Analyse HR metrics and trends, recommending data-driven solutions.
  • Employee Relations: Expertly manage all employee relations, including conflict resolution, investigations, and grievances.
  • Safety Role Model: Inspire and role-model effective safety behaviours.
  • Regional Travel: Must be able to travel to rural regional areas bi-monthly.

Candidate Profile

We seek a highly autonomous HR Business Partner who thrives on both strategic planning and hands-on operational execution. You will serve as a trusted advisor, adept at translating business goals into people strategies across multiple sites. Essential skills include influencing stakeholders, driving change, and utilising data analytics to find effective solutions across all functional HR domains (Talent, Performance, Remuneration).

The successful candidate must be a Safety-First Advocate, with extensive proven experience managing all facets of employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution. You possess knowledge of employment law and Modern Awards. As a proactive, solutions-oriented communicator, you will build strong working relationships at all levels, modelling best practice and driving operational excellence.
