Job description

In this role, you will have the freedom and responsibility to elevate HR within this international container shipping company to a higher level. As an HR Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for several departments, overseeing 150 colleagues. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Advising management and employees on the full HR spectrum;
  • Leading and executing HR Projects such as: policy development, process optimization, implementation and improvement of formats, compliance such as EU pay transparency, etc.;
  • Participating in and executing HR policy in the areas of development, performance management, absenteeism, remuneration;
  • Identifying topics yourself, initiating them, and executing them independently after approval;
  • Reporting to the HR Manager.

You will join a committed team of 8 colleagues. Additionally, you will have the space to shape your role yourself and can count on:

  • A full-time employment (38.75 hours per week), 4 days is negotiable;
  • A salary between €3,500 and €4,500 gross per month, depending on your work experience;
  • A fixed 13th month's salary;
  • A premium-free pension;
  • A full month's holiday pay per year;

  • Fully reimbursed public transport or a mileage allowance of €0.23 cents per kilometer;
  • Direct contract with the client;

You are an energetic, independent HR professional with a clear vision and a practical approach. You are self-starting and proactive, energetic and positive, approachable and people-oriented. Furthermore, you meet the following requirements:

  • Demonstrable and practical experience across multiple HR themes;
  • You hold a completed Bachelor's or Master's degree (HRM or equivalent);
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations;
  • The ability to make both pragmatic and theoretical considerations;
  • The independence to take responsibility and substantiate decisions.
