HPC/IA Infrastructure Manager

The HPC/IA Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for the operations of high-performance computing clusters and data centers. The manager will have a strategic and technical role to ensure the good performance of the environment.

• Be responsible for managing HPC (High Performance Computing) clusters and associated operations (architecture, deployment, maintenance, performance)

• Set up best practices related to infrastructure and networking operations (surveillance, incident management etc.)

• Take charge of good budget management (several million), suppliers (negotiation of agreements and contracts)

• Ensure the security of infrastructures, data, and all systems related to high-performance computing clusters

• Accompany the team in upskilling and using best practices

• Lead many projects related to high-performance computing, infrastructure, storage, networking, and security

• Ensure technological watchfulness relative to the industry and artificial intelligence

• Profile:

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure (ideally in an HPC environment) in a leadership role

• Required experience in high-performance computing clusters and infrastructure (Linux, distributed computing environments)

• Very good knowledge of technologies Slurm, Lustre, BeeGFS, InfiniBand, artificial intelligence, automation etc.

• HPC certification or equivalent (asset)

• Autonomy, communication skills, popularization, and team spirit

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Bilingualism required (French and English)
