Houseperson

You are at the heart of the hotel! As a House Person, you will look after our guest requests, room attendant team and public areas, ensuring that our guests are provided with a clean, comfortable space, and be a part of creating a memorable experience for them.

What you will be doing:

• Clean public areas and heart of house area to standard; including dusting, vacuuming, mopping,
  bathroom cleaning, restocking amenities, etc.
• Attend to all guest and room attendant requests
• Remove soiled linen from guest rooms
• Ensure proper usage of all cleaning products and wear all required personal protective equipment
• Take initiative to add a personalized experience for the guest
• Take ownership of guests’ privacy and belongings, while ensuring exceptional service
• Responsible for restocking housekeeping closet / service areas daily
• Report any maintenance concerns promptly
• Follow all hotel and departmental policies and procedures, as well as health & safety protocols

Physical Job Requirements:

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
• Occasional ascending or descending steps, stairs and ramps
• Physically capable of performing duties which involve repetitive bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting of heavy objects
