Housekeeping Assistant - Bank - Hospital

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Bank Housekeeping Assistant at a Barchester independent mental health hospital, you'll help to create the comfortable and secure environment that ensures we can meet each patient's unique needs. Keeping the hospital clean and safe is no small task, which is why the role of Housekeeping Assistant is so important. The variety of housekeeping and cleaning tasks you carry out will ensure everyone can enjoy a clean, tidy and welcoming environment. This means you'll have a direct impact on the well-being of our patients. RESPONSIBILITIES As a Housekeeping Assistant, you'll be responsible for a range of duties, including: * Cleaning and tidying bedrooms, communal areas, offices and bathrooms * Emptying bins and removing waste * Hoovering, sweeping, dusting and polishing * Replenishing supplies such as soap, toilet paper and hand towels * Reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate team * Adhering to health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines * Assisting with laundry duties, as required WHAT WE LOOK FOR To join us as a Housekeeping Assistant, you'll need: * A friendly and approachable manner * Good communication and team working skills * A positive attitude and a flexible approach * The ability to work efficiently and to a high standard * A willingness to learn and develop your skills * A good understanding of health and safety practices * Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential If you're passionate about making a positive difference, we'd love to hear from you.
