About the Opportunity
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a confident and experienced Hotel Duty Manager for a luxury property based in Camps Bay. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and is passionate about delivering seamless five-star service.

The successful candidate will take ownership of daily hotel operations, ensuring smooth coordination across departments including breakfast service, housekeeping, maintenance and front-of-house functions, while leading teams across rotating shifts.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily hotel operations across all departments
• Manage breakfast service and ensure an exceptional guest dining experience
• Coordinate housekeeping and maintenance teams for smooth operations
• Lead and supervise staff across multiple shifts
• Ensure guest requests and issues are handled efficiently and professionally
• Maintain high service standards across all touchpoints
• Support operational reporting and daily handovers, ensuring consistent communication between departments

Key Requirements
• Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience in hospitality
• Strong operational hotel knowledge
• Semper PMS experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Calm, composed and professional under pressure
• Warm, guest-focused approach with a firm but fair team management style
• Confident managing multiple departments simultaneously, with strong attention to detail

Package
• Salary: R18,000 – R28,000, dependent on experience
