Host/Hostess in Dining Room:
Your main mission:
Your main role is to welcome clients within our restaurant, the Red Deer.

Your main responsibilities:

Ensure the cleanliness and order of the service areas in the dining room.
Welcome clients to the establishment.
Assign a table to clients and escort them to it.
Return menus to clients and present the server.
Ensure the cleanliness of menus and update them as needed.
Assist with service during peak periods, if necessary.
Ensure the communication of client requests (e.g. anniversaries, allergies, etc.) to servers.
Provide information on the establishment's services and products, by phone or in person.
Take reservations.
Ensure coordination with the service staff to know the available tables.
All other connected tasks that may be requested by the maître d'hôtel or the restaurant manager.

Experience: A customer service experience is an asset.

Your skills and qualifications:

Knowledge of the restaurant industry (an asset).
Customer service.
Teamwork.
Ability to work under pressure.
Autonomous.
Polyvalent.
Dynamique.

Your working conditions:

Variable work schedule (range between 7am and 10pm).
Work during evenings, weekends, or holidays.
A demanding role that requires standing for long hours.
