Hosting Architect

The Projektron GmbH develops and markets the web-based project management software Projektron BCS. To support our more than 820 customers across Europe and continuously develop our software, we rely on over 130 employees at five locations in Germany.

We are currently looking for staff to support our hosting in full-time or part-time capacity at our headquarters inBerlin.

Tasks

• Support in the maintenance and further development of our automated hosting environment for Projektron BCS
• Maintenance and care of existing hosting VMs and instances
• Communication with our data center service provider
• Participation in the transition of the hosting environment to container technologies to optimize resource utilization
• Development and implementation of technical concepts for containerization and integration with existing administrative structures
• Co-responsibility for ensuring and hardening web servers and operating systems as part of IT security

Qualification

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a field related to IT, or equivalent knowledge acquired through professional experience
• Experience in administering an automated hosting environment
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar container tools
• Technical administration of web applications
• Administration of Linux servers
• Knowledge of tools: Nginx, Apache, HAProxy, Ansible, Puppet
• Excellent German language skills (C1 or higher)
