Horticulture / Garden Team Leader – Western Sydney
Lead a skilled horticulture team maintaining parks, gardens and open spaces.
We are seeking an experienced Horticulture/Garden Team Leader to supervise a small crew delivering high-quality maintenance of parks and public open spaces.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong horticultural knowledge, leadership experience, and confidence operating plant and equipment, including ride-on mowers.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of gardeners and grounds staff
• Maintain parks, gardens, and open space areas to a high standard
• Operate ride-on mowers, and other horticultural equipment
• Perform mowing, edging, pruning, mulching and planting activities
• Monitor irrigation systems and report maintenance issues
• Allocate daily tasks and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS requirements

About You

• Certificate III in Horticulture is a huge bonus.
• Proven experience leading horticulture, parks or grounds maintenance teams
• Strong open space maintenance experience
• Competent operating ride-on mowers and landscaping equipment
• Current C driving licence
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
