Head Nurse for Intensive Care (M/V/X)

Job description

Ensure continuity of care within intensive care
Organize, coordinate and supervise nursing activity and other functions
Determine the schedule and management of the rosters of available staff members
Supervise and, if necessary, guide employees in clinical practice
Coordinate daily care organization and personnel planning
Organize and execute nursing and caring actions within the department.
Ensure high-quality patient care and participate in evaluating it on the intensive care unit
Communicate and closely collaborate with various internal and external actors of the healthcare department
Distribute information and ensure good communication between different actors on intensive care also other departments
Organize team meetings to maintain cohesion and consultation within the team.
Ensure and organize continuous training for employees
Participate in guiding and integrating new hires
Conduct evaluations, performance discussions, absenteeism discussions, …
Participate in implementing new projects within the intensive care department and healthcare department
FOLLOW UP AND GUIDE various working groups and projects on the department
Participate in multidisciplinary consultations within the intensive care department
Develop personal skills, technical competencies and know-how through permanent training
Participate in institutional meetings
Closely collaborate with physicians/intensivists
