Lead Installer Heat Pumps

At DeWarmte, we make smart and affordable heat pumps with which we help homes get off gas. We design our products ourselves, assemble them in Utrecht, and together with our installation partners, ensure they are installed in more and more homes.

We are growing fast. Until now, all our heat pumps have been installed by external partners, but that is about to change. We are going to build our own installation teams and are therefore looking for a Lead Installer Heat Pumps to take the lead in this.

You are an experienced installer who likes to get your hands dirty, but also gets energy from guiding others. You will go out with your team, are responsible for the quality of the installations, and help us train more installers.

So you will not be joining an existing team. You will help build the team yourself.

What will you do?

As Lead Installer, you are responsible for the installation of our heat pumps at customers' homes. You will start by leading our first internal installation team and help us further expand our own installation capacity in the coming years.

You will install heat pumps and lead your team

• You will go out with a fellow installer to install our heat pumps at customers' homes.

• You are responsible for the entire installation, from technical execution and solving unexpected problems to handover.

• You ensure that installations are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to our quality standards.

• You are the point of contact for the customer during the installation. You explain what you are doing, answer questions, and ensure that the customer is left with a good feeling.

• Where necessary, you coordinate with our work planners and colleagues in the office about planning, materials, and technical challenges.

You will help build our internal installation team

• You will guide and train new installers and help them perform installations independently.

• You will think along about hiring new colleagues and how we can further expand our installation team.

• You will help further develop our installation standards and working methods.

• You will identify what can be done better or smarter in practice and take initiative to improve it.

• You will share feedback from the field with our engineers, work planners, and product developers so that we can continuously improve our products and installations.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who understands their craft well, takes responsibility, and enjoys making others better. You don't have to have built a whole team before, but you must be eager to take on that challenge.

• You have extensive experience with installing heat pumps, central heating systems, or other heating systems. Experience with heat pumps is strongly preferred.

• You have a strong technical foundation in installation technology, electrical engineering, and/or mechanical engineering.

• You can perform installations independently, read technical drawings, and solve unexpected problems.

• You have experience guiding other installers, or are ready to take on that responsibility.

• You work accurately and safely, and find it important to deliver high-quality work.

• You communicate easily with customers and colleagues and can explain technical matters understandably.

• You take initiative, think in solutions, and feel responsible for the end result.

• You speak Dutch well and have a B driving license.

A relevant MBO (vocational training) education and certifications such as VCA, NEN 3140, or CO-vakmanschap are a nice bonus. If you don't have all the necessary certificates yet? Then we will look together at what you can still achieve.

What do we offer you?

• A salary of €4,000 to €6,000 gross per month based on 40 hours, depending on your experience.

• A key role in our company: you will be the first Lead Installer of our internal installation team and help to further build it.

• 26 vacation days and 13 ADV days (days off in lieu of overtime) based on 40 hours, with the option to choose for higher compensation instead of ADV.
