Head of Toolmaking

As Head of Toolmaking, you are the technical point of contact and you coach the team of toolmakers.

Here is a selection of your tasks:

• On the shop floor, you are close to your team and you follow up on maintenance, repair, and production of molds.
• You participate in investigating technical problems, propose solutions, and make decisions.
• In addition, you are responsible for coordinating projects and know how to bring them to a successful conclusion.
• Furthermore, you provide technical support to our project department. You act as the (technical) right-hand man of the Operations Manager and you work closely with the toolmaking department, production, engineering, as well as the maintenance department.
• You report to the Technical Director.
• You divide your time between the shop floor and your office.

As Head of Toolmaking, you have a broad technical background and experience in mold making. You can also largely tick off the following:

• Industrial engineering degree or equivalent through experience.
• Proficient in performing technical analyses.
• Solution-oriented thinking.
• Good communication skills and able to get a team on board.
• Good knowledge of mechanics, electricity, and automation.
• You are decisive and dare to make tough calls.
• Very good knowledge of Dutch and knowledge of English.
