We are offering a position starting October 1, 2026, or by agreement for 1 year...

Exciting Tasks Await:

• You will support Statistics Aargau in the creation, maintenance, and documentation of the internal code base in R.
• You will contribute your interest in technical issues to project work.
• You will assist in the realization and introduction of the cantonal metadata catalog.
• You will answer inquiries about statistical data, coordinate their responses with the responsible specialists, and support data communication.

What You Bring:

• University or University of Applied Sciences degree at Bachelor's or Master's level
• Good knowledge of the programming language R (e.g., R package development, Shiny, or Quarto); knowledge of Git and SQL is an advantage
• Openness to new technologies and motivation to actively improve existing processes
• Experience in handling statistical data and interest in its preparation and communication
• High initiative, enjoyment of independent work, and strong team spirit
