About the job

As a sales associate, you will be responsible for providing an excellent service to customers, welcoming and guiding them through your store to sell our products dynamically and offer customer support. You will use your knowledge of fashion and products to provide customers with all the necessary information they need to offer the best possible experience. You will also work on restocking and maintaining clothing, their presentation, and contribute to the cleanliness of the sales floor and backroom, working closely with the rest of your store team to offer an excellent customer experience.

Sales and profit

• Furnish an excellent service to customers: welcome and guide them through the store and during the OMNI experience, if applicable, and help with direct customer service.
• Voluntarily exchange and discuss with customers to offer an excellent service.
• Guide customers through fashion trends, stories, and products in all areas of the store.
• Able to assure the promotion and sale of our products to customers.
• Promote actively our customer loyalty application (Bonjour Membre) and sustainable initiatives in-store.
• Give a positive image of yourself and the H&M brand during all interactions with customers.
• Support commercial or operational actions to achieve sales targets alongside your store management team.

Fashion and trends

• Remain up-to-date on the fashion world, trends, styles, brands, products, competitors, and influencers, etc.
• Use your knowledge of products and fashion to share relevant information with customers.

Team and growth

• Maintain and share with colleagues your knowledge and skills in service, fashion, and store operations.
• Respect all procedures, operational routines, and legal requirements in all areas of the store.
• Give and receive feedback from colleagues to learn, progress, and support each other.
• Participate in integration and presentation processes, training sessions, and courses necessary for your role and personal development.

Retail management/ Visual and commercial execution

• Complete the full cycle of clothing management, including unboxing, restocking, and maintenance, steaming, and ensuring appropriate care for these items.
• Manage the fitting room and cash register areas in accordance with exemplary practices and processes.
• Contribute to the cleanliness and order of the sales floor and backroom (including storage rooms).
• Support the presentation of clothing, execution, and maintenance of an attractive display of merchandise, trends, and stories, in accordance with visual and commercial guidelines.
• Ensure a good level of stock thanks to restocking routines on the sales floor.
• Maintain and follow best practices for all OMNI services in-store and technical tools (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store, etc.).
• Support opening and closing of the store
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and legal requirements applicable to your role and responsibilities.
