We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate History Teacher who can inspire and motivate students. You know how to bring history to life and link historical themes in a fascinating way to the present day and the world of the classroom.

Depending on the client and location, you will teach students in secondary education (vmbo, havo, vwo) or mbo. You are responsible for preparing, organizing, and evaluating lessons, guiding students in their learning process, and contributing to curriculum development.

• Preparing and giving inspiring and structured History lessons.

• Evaluating student results.

• Guiding and coaching students in their learning process.

• Contributing to cross-disciplinary projects and school development.

• Maintaining contact with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.

• Completed History Teacher Education (1st or 2nd grade).

• Authorization to teach in secondary education and/or mbo.

• At least 2 years of experience as a History teacher.

• Pedagogical and didactic skills to effectively guide students.

• Good communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience in different educational levels (vmbo, havo, vwo, mbo).

• Flexible and proactive work attitude.

• Affinity with innovative and current working methods.

• Available for at least one school year.
