HIRING SKILLED WORKER IN THE SKILLED TRADE (RAIL VEHICLES) - AUSTRIA

We are seeking skilled professionals (electricians, mechanics, mechatronics technicians, installers, painters, metalworkers) to join our rail vehicle teams in Austria.

Age: up to 48 years

Working hours: 38.5 per week

Salary: €35,000 – €40,000 gross/year

Requirements: LAP qualification, German B2, valid driving license B

Flexibility: Yes (shifts, weekends, public holidays)

• Perform professional tasks in your trained trade
• Work on construction, assembly, conversion, installation & repair of rail vehicles/components
• Carry out technical tasks under ECM/RIL standards within a team
• Support railway-specific activities requiring specialized expertise
• Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in all processes

• Completed technical apprenticeship qualification (LAP) or equivalent (for training completed outside Austria)
• First relevant professional experience after apprenticeship completion
• Willingness to undertake further training/specialist education
• Valid driving license B (mandatory); license C is an advantage
• German language proficiency till B2 level
• Flexibility to work shifts, nights, weekends, and outdoors in varying conditions
