Hiring for Construction Electrician

The Construction Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within agricultural facilities, greenhouses, irrigation systems, cold storage units, and associated infrastructure. The role requires hands-on expertise in electrical works for construction and maintenance projects while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards in Qatar. Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures, including but not limited to, power distribution systems, lighting, and control systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems and faults in various electrical systems and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical installations. Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies. Coordinate with other construction professionals, such as plumbers and HVAC technicians, to ensure the smooth execution of projects. Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed, including materials used, and time spent. Order and maintain an inventory of electrical supplies and equipment. Provide training and guidance to junior electricians and apprentices. Requirements: Proven experience as a Construction Electrician, with at least 3 years of experience in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and electrical codes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment, such as multimeters, and circuit testers. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions. Valid electrician license or certification from a recognized institution. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on agricultural facilities, greenhouses, or cold storage units. Familiarity with irrigation systems and related electrical components.
