Work where others spend their winter holidays. For the winter season 2026/27, we are looking for a Kitchen Assistant for our The Wall Bar on the Eigergletscher.
As a leading company in Alpine tourism, we develop and actively shape the adventure space in the Jungfrau Region. Around 1,000 employees live our brand "Top of Europe" daily and are further developing Jungfraubahnen as the largest mountain railway group in tourism into an integrated leisure and service company.
Work where others spend their winter holidays. The The Wall Bar on the Eigergletscher is a meeting point for winter sports enthusiasts from all over the world and offers a unique working environment directly at the foot of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. For the winter season from December 14, 2026 to April 4, 2027, we are looking for a motivated individual who likes to get involved, keeps an overview even in lively moments, and creates unforgettable guest experiences together with the team.

Your tasks:- Preparation & Support: You support the kitchen team with daily preparation tasks and ensure the mise en place.
- Simple Food Preparation: You prepare cold and warm dishes according to specifications and plate them attractively.
- Assistance in Daily Operations: You support the team during service times and ensure a smooth process.
- Quality & Hygiene Standards: You consistently adhere to hygiene and HACCP guidelines.
- Inventory Management: You assist with goods receiving, storage, and proper handling of food.
- Cleaning & Orderliness: You ensure cleanliness and order in the kitchen and back office area.
What you bring:
- Experience in a kitchen or gastronomy setting, ideally in a seasonal or high-traffic establishment.
- Enjoyment of practical work and handling food.
- Resilience and flexibility, even during peak guest times.
- Independent and reliable work ethic, as well as quick comprehension.
- Team spirit and helpfulness with a positive attitude.
- Good German language skills, additional language skills are an advantage.
