Work where others spend their winter holidays. For the winter season 2026/27, we are looking for a Kitchen Assistant for our The Wall Bar on the Eigergletscher.

The The Wall Bar on the Eigergletscher is a meeting point for winter sports enthusiasts from all over the world and offers a unique working environment directly at the foot of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. For the winter season from December 14, 2026 to April 4, 2027, we are looking for a motivated individual who likes to get involved, keeps an overview even in lively moments, and creates unforgettable guest experiences together with the team.

Your tasks:

• Preparation & Support: You support the kitchen team with daily preparation tasks and ensure the mise en place.
• Simple Food Preparation: You prepare cold and warm dishes according to specifications and plate them attractively.
• Assistance in Daily Operations: You support the team during service times and ensure a smooth process.
• Quality & Hygiene Standards: You consistently adhere to hygiene and HACCP guidelines.
• Inventory Management: You assist with goods receiving, storage, and proper handling of food.
• Cleaning & Orderliness: You ensure cleanliness and order in the kitchen and back office area.

What you bring:

• Experience in a kitchen or gastronomy setting, ideally in a seasonal or high-traffic establishment.
• Enjoyment of practical work and handling food.
• Resilience and flexibility, even during peak guest times.
• Independent and reliable work ethic, as well as quick comprehension.
• Team spirit and helpfulness with a positive attitude.
• Good German language skills, additional language skills are an advantage.
