- Lead and manage external audits from planning through to final reporting
- Liaise directly with clients to build relationships and add value
- Review audit files and provide support and guidance to junior team members
- Ensure compliance with NZ auditing standards and internal quality controls
- Contribute to internal training and continuous improvement of the audit function
- 3+ years of external audit experience in a New Zealand CA environment
- CA qualified (or close to it)
- Sound understanding of NZ IFRS and audit standards
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead engagements
- Experience reviewing work and mentoring juniors
- Confidence with audit software (e.g., APS, Caseware, or similar)
