HGV Class 1 - 4 on- 4 off Rota

RFS Staffing Solutions Ltd are actively seeking an HGV Class 1 to join a massive blue-chip business alongside a team of experienced Transport and Logistics team in Eurocentral.

Our Clients business covers the globe, with an annual turnover of 8 Billion pounds per annum.

You'll be joining our clients' Dayshift crew, delivering palletised stock, cages and clothing racks to multiple large retail stores across Scotland. Unlike the majority of HGV roles available, this role provides an excellent work-life balance. 4 shifts of hard graft, followed by 4 days of rest. If you're chasing 60 hour weeks, you'll hate this role. If you're at a point in your life where work is a means to an end to pay the bills and spend more time doing the things you love, this is the ideal role for you. For this role you will be joining the clients team an an initial 12 week contract, with the offer of a permanent contract upon successful completion of the 12 weeks.

Starting at approx 05:00am each day, your average day will be around 10-11 hours each. Delivering to 3 or 4 stores if local, or a 1 or 2 hitter if going up North. Additional, voluntary overtime is available if desired.

From a recruiters point of view, the team at site don't appear stressed out or constantly pressing the Drivers through the day. Come in, get your run, do your checks and off you go.

Hourly rates are slightly above the current average in Lanarkshire with

Monday to Friday - £16.15ph

Saturday £18.80ph

Sunday- £20.47ph.

You can also receive an additional 12.07% supplement on top of your hourly rate plus 3% pension contribution and a host of other benefits.
