HESS Manager Freelance

In this role, you are the driving force behind our risk and safety policy. From our headquarters in Antwerp and with regular visits to our warehouses in the port, you ensure that safety and efficiency always come first.

This means that you:

• Develop and monitor our internal safety policy.
• Ensure that our workspaces meet safety standards and procedures.
• Risk identification, assessment, and preventive measures.
• Perform internal controls and report on improvement opportunities.
• Maintain contact with external partners to optimize processes.
• Respond to incidents and interventions and, if necessary, guide internal investigations.
• Sensitize and enthuse colleagues to truly live the HESS policy within the organization.

Requirements

You are someone who applies rules with conviction and care, but also can switch to a solution-oriented approach. You are communicatively strong, know how to motivate colleagues, and have a healthy dose of perseverance.

In addition, you bring:

• Experience in a comparable function.
• An analytical and problem-solving approach: you investigate facts, test alternatives, and make thoughtful decisions.
• Familiarity with Dutch and English.
• A B driving license to easily move between our different locations.
